I think they make some of the best turbo cars out there. They definitely know how to size a turbo.

I owned a RWD X1 and now a 328i and I’m kind of not ok with a FWD BMW. BUT as long as they keep the lineup mostly RWD then it’s barely acceptable.

Even generic BMW owners expect a different driving experience behind the wheel. That “status” got to where it is because the cars offered a superior driving experience. The cars are special and even non-car people know this.

Neither is track racing which I hear is not important all day on Jalopnik.

I’d rather have the Turbo S. It does everything else better.

Yes because no one ever does that.

Jalop cars get an automatic CP.

This is the greatest comment.

Dude.

Somehow I don’t think this would change things.

No.

I don’t care for drifting either but his stuff is entertaining and it’s nice to see a car reviewer that’s not some snobby, jaded asshole (looking at you Jason Cammisa).

You are incorrect in your assessment of this car.

I only voted CP because of the transmission. Get the later model with the ZF automatic. These are very reliable cars. I did a ton of research on these. I might still get one in the future.

It didn’t sell well. The Tacoma was murdering it in sales. That’s why it got killed. 2 people buying something does not a sales success make.

The guy just said he compares it to his 5.0L trucks which would have the telematics software also. Jalopdumbshits always know more than people actually DOING something and backing it up with DATA.

Although I don’t think it’s dumb, I have ZERO desire to drift a car. I don’t even care to do smoky launches with one. I don’t find any of that fun at all.

I would not mind having one of these with a LS swap.

I have. It’s not all that. 320hp would actually make it interesting.
