Still, the general idea has already been done before. Changing her name is just a cosmetic change.

I am left to suspect that the showrunners had that ending of Ted getting with Robin in mind all along, as the final reactions of the kids encouraging Ted to go after Robin at the end of his story was apparently pre-recorded while actors Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie were still teenagers (Both were in their late

I recommend checking it out at least once. I haven't revisited the books in the same amount of time as you, and I had a blast with it.

Actually, I'll be placing my bets on the Bionic Booger Boy.

I don't know if I have the free time to add to every single one of your notes, but I can rigorously agree about this being a sublime adaptation. I haven't gone back to this series in ages, and yet my 10-year-old self was gleaming with all the nods and references that came raging back. Like you mentioned, the plot

Ooh boy. My condolences for the death of your sanity.

Yeah, an hour after I posted this I did my research, and you're absolutely right (It's telling of my age that Mahar wasn't on my personal radar until Real Time). And yeah, Mahar looks to be among the likes of Frank Miller as, in the wake of 9/11, decided that the phrase "moderate Muslim" is an oxymoron in their book

Yeah, because reacting aggressively to our aggressors is a totally justifiable action. I mean, it's not like we try and teach our kids to do the exact opposite, right?

I don't know, I got way more of a chuckle out of "ducking fumbass," but that's just me.

Well, in my personal opinion, Maher is just something of a smug, condescending asshole, one who can't hide behind a character like Colbert, and doesn't display any sense of nuance or compassion like Stewart.
I don't wish his career to be over, heck, when he's on point he can actually be funny. I just wish he gets off

Well, there you go. Always be aware of the Dowd Curve.

Ooh boy. My condolences for the death of your sanity.

Here's the most important question though: Did Dowd review Ghostbusters '16? The dude has his own unique grading curve to always stay aware of.

I only recently started on Super. I quit the Resurrection F Saga half-way and have cheated all the way to the most recent Episode 92, which I'm already enjoying loads more.

Funny story: I spent all day thinking of a response for you, scrambling to think of one children's property nowadays that I felt is applicable to me. The best I came up with were the Minions, but then again I'm unsure how kids today even feel about them. Are they already as sick of Minions as the rest of us are?

This actually reminds me a lot of the Peanuts Movie two years ago, where they translate the original art style into 3D seamlessly.

Wait, the next season is going to be a dream-world too?
…I don't quite know how I feel about that prospect, but I'll wait to see how it plays out.

I have a weird relationship with this series based on what you said. I feel the first three seasons were great, 4 was okay, but they were clearly running out of steam doing the usual stuff, 5 was a breath of fresh air to me and still by far my favorite of these more serialized seasons, 6 was still pretty fun though
