On the weekends I don't have an alarm, and I typically wake up around 8am. That won't work during the week, since I have to leave before 8 to be at work by 8:30.

I live in Texas, and only have to worry about ice on the road from time to time. Winter tire sales here pretty much never happen due to the warmer weather, but I'd never not buy All Season tires just in case. If it snows, it melts pretty quickly, but often it re-freezes over night. I've had to drive my RWD truck on

Very cool. Dish soap has always worked for me when I've had trouble removing my ring for any reason.

I'm probably one of the few people here that can somewhat relate to this story.

What's your preferred method then?

The credit rating may be the major culprit. Texas has the highest medically uninsured ratings in the US. One out of every four Texans do not have health insurance.

I live in Texas. That seems crazy... What do you drive? I have second level full coverage on an '06 F-150 and a '08 Prius with roadside asst. with $500 ded.

I also use a medicated shampoo to keep the breakouts at bay. Recently I grew a beard and found that

Especially when making fried eggs!

I accidentally bought sunflower seed oil instead of sesame, and I love it. Great for very high heat and imparts no flavor.

Flashes are a much brighter concentration of light than other light sources like flashlights. That is why they last only a fraction of a second. Otherwise the bulb and parts of the flash would burn out or melt.

Powerful flashes can have a tough time battling the sun, so I would recommend doing this in the shade or when it's not very bright outside with overcast for the best results.

You got it.

Yep.

Yep, you got it... And agreed.

Yep, cynical one liners is just one of the many things I've mastered over the years.

I totally agree, and I pride myself on knowing how to do many things well. However my hobbies do get in the way of one another. Remodeling a bathroom, rebuilding a motorcycle, and part time photography are a few of the things fighting for my free time right now.
