Comparing the T3i and the 7D, I think the differences aren't enough to justify the price for choosing the 7D as a starter DSLR, unless you find a good deal on a used one.

This would be a great alternative to the 50mm for travel or street photography.

Give one to a sherpa so we can all hike to the Everest summit via internet.

I agree about the hood. I keep one on all my lenses. Not for protection, but in case I need it. There are aftermarket ones that are very cheap too.

I keep hoods on all my lenses, and not because of protection. They actually do have a purpose, and if you don't have one when you need it, then you could end up sacrificing quality. There are many companies that make much cheaper versions than the name brand ones. I highly recommend getting one for each lens.

I like cooking with cheap somewhat bad-tasting honey wheat beers. They may not taste great as a beer, but they work awesome as marinades. Much better resulting flavor than cooking with a regular ale or a lighter beer.

That sounds like a great way to cook sausage.

If you're not smoking sausage for a long period, then poaching them in some type of marinade is the way to go. Especially when it comes to bratwurst or sausage that is already cooked, and basically just needs to be heated up and served. The more difficult route is not always the best way to get great results.

I know he can play keyboard well, and he studied jazz in college. He has also been in several bands over the years. The most popular is probably the hip-hop group Maktub, which he recorded 5 albums with before going solo. His solo music-comedy stuff is what has really taken off recently, and got him famous. He's got

Now playing

My friend has a nest, and it's awesome. I will definitely be getting one after I move in a couple of months.

I love this, but I'm sure it costs an arm and/or a leg. I wonder how long it runs before needing to be re-wound.

Classy

YES! I can finally get the last bit of Nutella out of the container without looking like a crackhead!

Magic Lantern firmware may be another answer to solve this problem in a not too distant future. They've extended recording capabilities (+12mins) on previous models with those restrictions by adjusting the bit rate. I've been thinking about installing it on my T2i.

I would injure myself with any type of pencil that is sharp on what is typically the eraser end. Probably by stabbing myself in the face or mouth.

Cameras like those are very specialized tools. Some are as big as a room. The images you get from those cameras and telescopes aren't anything we can relate to, because the images they produce is for data and the subject matter is usually very tiny or very far away.

The sensor exists, but the camera doesn't. The photos would be very different using standard photographic optics.

I guess that answers their question whether or not people are interested.

This "camera" doesn't exist yet. They're trying to gauge interest to procure funds. RTFA
