Maybe this is just me, but it is a bit upsetting that this panel was put together not because anyone at NBC thought it’d be a good idea to have an all POC cast, but as an overcorrection for the blunder of some white lady.

This feel like it could be the opening track for a political thriller/ action flick to anyone else? I feel like Jason Bourne or someone is about to walk into frame.

NGL, I love this. Its just so petty, lol. And if he’s to be believed (I’m certainly not following up on the claim) tickets were only $15, so he spent like 3k on this, which is pretty chump change for someone who I assume is worth millions.

Pretty sure he’s playing at being an animal, hence the name “the beast”. I didn’t read anything sexual to it beyond the average (by which I mean large amount of) homoeroticism found in MMA. That’s just my take though.

Sadly they’re also mostly 3d arena brawlers, which doesn’t tingle my jingles the way something like a 2d fighter would.

I’m positive I’ve seen him in a MvC:I tourney this year. I think the main reason we haven’t seen him is literally because Marvel died, lol.

This definitely just speaks to me being a weirdo, but I read the headline, and assumed that the ending brought Sam back. Wasn’t sure what else would cause drama other than the character the devs jumped through hoops to get rid of.

I agree with what you’re saying. It is perhaps easy to read my response as a condemnation of the FGC for getting wrong something that is easy to get right, but I do recognize this is a sticky situation.

I mean, he was on stream practically months later at UMvC3 tourneys, and you still do see him from time to time. My point here is that if even a lesser known player like Noel was allowed to compete again, what example does that set for the scene, and can we really count on TOs to hit Infil with an even harder…

My fear is that we have a Noel Brown situation in which, because he is friends with so many of the “FGC Illuminati”, and because he is so skilled, that this will be quickly forgiven and forgotten.
