Plus people in general are too stupid to use them correctly, despite having the instructions painted right there on the ground.

No, They're all doing reality shows and wrestling. ;)

I love B5, one of my favorite shows of all time. Farscape is up there too, though I recall it getting really weird after season 2 (which coupled with a bad show time might be why I've only seen the first two to completion).

What Star Wars needs is a reboot. I'd say Joss Whedon for director and Fillion for Han Solo (okay, maybe he's not the perfect replacement for Harrison Ford, but I think he'd be interesting in the role), and maybe get Kevin J. Anderson or Timothy Zahn on the writing end.

There is a DVD set of the newer ones that includes the original cuts, but it's out of print so new copies are going for $250ish and used for $80ish.

I've never understood how it can be legal to make a backup copy (or is that granted by EULA?), and yet they can get away with adding DRM that makes it impossible to do without breaking the law that says you can't circumvent copy protection (DMCA? I can't remember if that's it or not, but there's a specific law that

This looks pretty awesome! Now to decide whether to get it on XBOX or PS3. Decisions decisions.

I cannot freaking WAIT for this to come out. Soexcitedsoexcitedsoexcited!

Yeeaah, I think I'll pass.

Yep, it's the same concept as price anchoring, restaurants will put a $20 burger on the menu to make you feel better about buying the $12 burger. It's effective. :(

My review would consist of four words: Kill it with fire.

I don't know, this is the internet we're talking about, we may be safe from cosplay, but there's probably plenty of Jar-Jar fanart and, well, *cough*rule34*cough*

The irony could smother an elephant...

Oh gosh, how long has it been since I bought or played MtG?

I was over there for a couple weeks in '06 and one of the guys I worked with said breathing the air in Beijing was "like smoking 70 packs a day."

That's a bummer. I admit I thought it was a stupid idea when I first saw posts about it, I like old games but watch someone else play them? Eh.

While I'm also glad DAT is dead (because it was so crappy), it should have been the market that killed it (or improved it and found a really good use for it), not the recording industry.

True, but when they're in water you don't even have to hit them, just get close.

I feel like Effie's hair should be a brighter pink, but if that's the biggest problem with The Hunger Games I don't think I'll mind all that much. :)

Agreed! I was thinking, hey, he's at least got the look, and then he spoke and my jaw dropped.
