I’ve always had problems with Sony lasers (knock on wood, my PS4 still works fine, although I play most games off the hard drive). No issue with my Saturn or Dreamcast though, which arguably have gotten more use over the years than the Sony consoles.

My PS2 stopped reading DVDs at first, and then later CDs. It no longer reads discs, I just load them off the hard drive.

I had an old PSX that would only play discs upside-down, but it was one of the models with the parallel ports on it, so I kept it because I could use it to play backups.

I like the front and side profile of the FT-1 a bit better, but the rear of the production Supra definitely looks better. I can think of many cars that were WAY more disappointing than the Supra.
