I get that you may not want your partner to tweet that about you and that’s totally good. But just leave the dude alone.

I didn’t really have a problem with Stranger Things 3 until the last episode. It was downright awful. The pacing was terrible as was the writing. It felt extremely anti-climactic and the story was essentially done a quarter of the way into the episode. I just kept waiting for it to end.
That body kit makes it look like an oversized Fiero GT.
Being as he filmed himself commiting a crime,
But what if the garishness of a classic banner ad is a virtue, and not a sin?
I didn’t see a single fact about radiation levels or contamination levels in that entire story. Essentially there’s no conclusion to draw from that because it’s completely hearsay.
BTW, this Lifehacker article was an excellent “how to” primer.
Spinrite will always crash on any drive larger than 500GB, and will not work on GPT Windows partitions. A good alternative is HDD Regenerator. It doesn’t give nearly as much information as Spinrite but it runs much faster and doesn’t care what size drive or what kind of partition you’re running it on.
Spinrite will not work on any drives larger than 500GB (it’ll run, but it always results in a critical error well before the halfway point). It also will not run on GPT Windows partitions (still works with Mac partitions though). For those reasons I usually don’t bother with it unless I have a pretty darn good reason…
As a field tech, I probably wouldn’t go there if I thought I was having HD troubles.
As a lowly Mac user, I just listen to the damn thing. It makes a characteristic noise if it is failing, so I just back the thing up, close it down, and take it to the Mac Connection.
Chkdsk, when ran with the /f switch, makes corrections to the file system when it finds inconsistencies and is very much a terrible idea to run on a drive that you suspect is failing. It’s a great way to lose data.
The first and simplest way check the health of your drives—be they mechanical hard drives or SSDs—is to run a simple error check in Windows. You’ll want to do more than this to get a full picture of your how your drive is doing, but this is a great first step to see (real quick) if something is wrong with your…
Uh, load times have been an important thing since CD consoles first existed (hell, even before that if you ask anyone who has loaded a game from cassette). Not only are they a pain in the ass when you’re in the middle of enjoying a game, but they can also impact how games are designed. You’re absolutely nuts if you…
They should just dump him and eat his salary. They’re already well below last year’s salary, so it wouldn’t hurt as much as it normally would.
It is overrated because people have the audacity to mention it in the same conversation as The Sopranos and Breaking Bad as deserving of the title of “best series ever”.
Why the fuck would you risk injuring what might be one of your better pitchers just to try for a no-hitter in a meaningless game?
Leave it to Tom Ley to get behind the shittiest take of any situation. You openly admit their roster is shit, then complain that they didn’t run this kid’s arm into the ground for the FOURTH GAME OF THE SEASON for a meaningless statistic on a team that lost 115 games last season in spite of having players like Machado…
That kind of stinks.
