I can hear the turbine wheel in the new 911 pretty easily, but it’s fairly muted, and other than that, it’s rather surprising by how audibly disguised the turbos are. No doubt Porsche went to good lengths to eliminate the obvious sounds.

Dyno numbers are absolutely meaningless, other than to test the same car on the same dyno under the same conditions. They’re good for testing parts or a tune. Running a stock car on a dyno tells you practically nothing, other than your baseline.
