Agree completely. Don’t jump in front of tons of moving steel and DON’T reach in peoples cars and try and grab anything. You might be dragged. The 12,000 lbs is gross vehicle weight PLUS load.

The front. Most trucks with 12,000lb plates pull a trailer, obscuring a rear plate from view.

Not sure about Texas but here in Missouri, you are not required to have a rear plate on trucks with 12,000 lb. plates and above.
