Oh yeah, no, I wasn't saying you were complaining about cash; I was just pointing out haow quickly it is possible to get back into the game of getting new characters. It's much, much, much faster than F2P stuff like Hawken or Mech Warrior Online or those types of games.

It'll undoubtedly be the 2nd. :-/ I would love a good Stargate RPG and RTS (RTS using the races as different factions ala Starcraft would be AWESOME). There was an RPG a couple of years ago, but I think it folded. It looked really next gen at the time, too.

It's not that hard to get cash. 1-2 games of silver gives you a Spectre pack. 2-3 gives you Premium Spectre.

Aww, thanks. You flatter me. :-p

Dude, it's not about "being open minded and seeing other people's point of view"; you didn't postulate a point of view, you proclaimed as fact clearly incorrect BS and then built your case around it. Like a castle of sand, your arguments and statements are built upon a weak base of falsehoods, therefore I

I point out my PC Master Race membership so that people like you can't come back with "lololz stupid console peasant".

Please ignore gamezMk- he's exposed himself as an ignorant fucktard, and he even had the nerve to jump into one of my threads and try to correct *me* (LOLOL). I laid a fucking verbal beat down on him in this post: http://kotaku.com/5968211/?post=55325239

...Exactly this. Kind of frustrating. Still beats paying for Cable though.

It reminds me of Mass Effect 3, where there was a lot of jumping and falling, especially in the first level as the city is being attacked, Star Trek style. The developers really talked up the new vertical design of the levels.

What *is* the second best available rig right now? And FYI, most people attribute that quote to a GPU, not the whole rig. Either way, what's "2nd best" right now, or more accurately, when that quote was made?

Look, I'm not here to argue with you, because most of what you're saying is spot-on 100% true with regards to consoles looking better at launch. In fact, that's what I've been telling all the other fucktards in this thread who've popped up. Take a look at my history.

Hey man, I'm just gonna copypasta my other responses to people about why you're wrong. You're CLEARLY pulling stuff out of your ass, and you're definitely not a PC gamer, or were not until recently.

There are no automatic guns being sold. Anyone can buy an AR15 semi-auto, because at that point, it's a highly versatile rifle, like a Garand or any other semi-automatic rifle.

Yeah, they'll turn to pipe bombs and improvised IEDs ala the Columbine killers and every Iraqi insurgent of the last 10 years.

Forgot about young Jeff Bridges in the real world. Still, wasn't too bad.

It's not that I expect the PC hardware to not accelerate past console hardware; it's that I expect that the big game developers will continue to develop cross-platform to a set of constants like they do now. If you read the IGN interview w/ Epic's CEO on their "Future of PC Gaming" article, he mentions that the costs

Actually, Need For Speed Most Wanted looked better on the 360 due to the weather effects. I'm not sure why, but I've had it on roughly 5 different sets of hardware (I have it on my gaming rig now) and the sky always had a more realistic look in the console version. I always felt gipped because of that, haha. :-)

What's next gen to you? What's your current baseline?

Yeah, hardware moves forward. Yes, it was last year, near the 2/3 point of the generation. That doesn't make it any less true, and doesn't make your statement any less bullshit about needing a $1,000 system to be decent.
