Yes, it’s a terrible phrase

I had literally never heard of this until now. Was it really that big a thing?

So now I need to figure out how to set up keyboard shortcuts for emoticons? Um, no. I’m still usingOK’

‘K’ is easier to type when driving though.

I wonder if the difference in opinion on this is between people who use text casually for conversations, and people who use it only for information?

FYI, it would probably be a good idea not to reference articles behind a paywall

Interesting - I just tried that and I guess it does. I just never used an emoticon on this phone before. Still, it’s an extra step to hit the emoticon button and then the thumbs up, instead of just sliding my thumb from ‘O’ to ‘K’.  Or even just hitting K

Hmmm. I can hit the emoticon button, search through about 100 choices for the thumbs up, then select it.

I woulnd’t know what the hell they were talking about it they said ‘kk’

I had to google “hoon”

I just want to be able to effing sort my emails

Not that everyone is married, but I thought that serving dishes and utensils were pretty standard wedding gifts. That’s what our family uses for Thanksgiving dinners. We don’t use them most of the rest of the year, but they do get used over the holiday season.  Do people not do that any more?

not right now

I desperately want this movie to be turned into a tv series

That’s just part of the job, right? I never expected any favors

In other words, “how to pretend to be interested in people you aren't interested in”

Also, a cheap knapsack is great if you have to walk a distance while carrying stuff (like perishable groceries). I have a cheap one from some tech conference in my car.

If I did this, my mentor would just want to get drunk all the time...
