If people’s spending and voting habits are over influenced by Facebook, then that’s their problem. I get my news from a real paper newspaper. I research my purchases, and avoid impulse buys. And if my FB posts affect my health insurance (which I think is extremely unlikely) then I’ll deal with it at that time.

It continually surprises me that this needs to be said. Of course you can do it alone! Why do people require so much company. Hell, I’m married with a kid and I do tons of stuff alone because my family often doesn’t like the same activities as me.
