”Your angsty fave could neva.”
Had to Google Cardi B and Nicki Minaj
Oh god no... Just.... No.
Before smart phones I always had some reading material when I went out alone. Now just make sureI have a book on my Kindle app
The problem with the toaster oven is that I can’t cook and eat on the same plate. I have to either dirty the baking sheet, or haul out the roll of foil and cover it. and it still takes longer. Plate - food - microwave - BAM! - ready to eat in 30 seconds.
This only works if you use a lot of butter. In our family, a stick of butter can last for months. If we didn’t keep it in the fridge it would go rancid.
Which is 4 minutes and 30 seconds too long.
Not everyone has a library close by. I think these are mostly intended to promote reading by being convenient. If a kid can walk down the street and borrow a book, they are more likely to do it rather than get their parents to drive them to the library. Or even visit the school library during be a busy school day.
I don’t think most people can taste the difference. All beer pretty much tastes the same to me, just with differing levels of bitterness and maybe some added flavors in different seasons (pumpkin spice, cranberry, etc). For that reason, I prefer it I’ve cold.
I always, always need to tear up napkins and stuff them in my ears at the movies

It’s helpful because it reminds us what paperwork we used last year so we don’t forget anything. Then we print out our return and take it and the paperwork to H&R Block. Because H&R Block uses…
Maybe it’s just me, but I literally did not notice any of that stuff they talked about in the article above. I had heard about the silence before the movie, but it didn’t seem out of place. And I didn’t even realize it happened until after.
Maybe I’m missing something, but wherever I see tables bussed, all the plates and and silverware gets tossed in the plastic bin willy-nilly. It never would have occurred to me that they need to be organized a certain way
I was kind of hoping for more specific one-liners. “What do you mean by that?” was a good one, but I was hoping for more.
We have 4 of these and I love them.

I’m not sure there is anything they can do. Movies may just be one of those things that goes away when there are alternatives (like shopping malls).
I always, always save one of my napkins from the concessions to rip into 2 small pieces for my ears.
