That’s a relief. You can change around Supes, make a dozen versions of the batmobile but leave my Main Man alone.

There was a joke running around when I was a kid. Someone would ask “What’s Superman’s real name?” I’d answer back “Kal-El.” Then he (the joker) would say “Wrong! it’s Efren.” my question would be “ Why Efren?” Because Margot Kidder as Lois asked Supes “who’re you” and he replied “A friend.”

You beat me to it.

Wincott and Lee,as with the rest of the cast really dug into it. I watch the movie , methinks, about 3x a year. At least.

It’s hard to follow a Draven when the sequels really didn’t get close to the treatment of the first Crow movie. But I would welcome a bulky Crow. I mean with all the avenging, even with a near invincible ( though temporary) resurrected body, one has to keep up with the times. Just don’t get too far into the futuristic

Flagg or The man in Black has been known to appear from time to time on stories penned by Stephen King.

Why do we assume that just because it’s Chinese its a rip off? Western filmaskers are known to take their ideas from Asian and European films and stories. Maybe this movie just got stranded at Customs.

Roland loses some fingers as the story moves along, not to mention a lot of bruises and wounds. If anybody can pull of a Roland and still look cool, Idris is the man. Matthew, on the other hand has that subdued arrogance, he fits the Man in Black like a glove.

For once I won’t argue: This song is really, REALLY bad. No other words to describe it. Missy Elliot can’t take it higher.

“Overworked” is putting it lightly

Hee-hee! It’s no secret now though, I was there when it was still the traditional process, went hrough the transition from paper-pencil-peg bar to digital. Going digital was meant to lessen dependency on paper and other materials. Turns out, it takes both to make better animation these days. Even 3D has its flaws. Evol

I worked on Dragonball Z the anime from 1994 t0 2004 and even with all the text in Japanese (we only understood some Kanji and Katakana that pertains to our in-between assignments, I was an In-Betweener for TOEI Animation) and sad, to say the least, I was horrified by how Dragonball Evolution came to be. I rarely

I am in denial. I keep thinking there will be a next season. Until then I’ll be seeing my therapist as regularly as possible.

Not to nitpick, but, saw this in Deadpool.

Wonderful artwork. And don’t forget, all throughout the franchise, Weyland-Yutani is the corporation is an omnipresence. The site they pu up for Prometheus promos is still up

The Last time I enjoyed a movie was Dog Soldiers. All because no one knew anything about the movie and I was really hard pressed to see one that will not be as crowded as the other films around that time. I usually, in a theater where there are less peopple watching, to pick the seat with open spaces at least, left

The man does have that presence whenever he’s in a small role on any movie. Count me in.

*Scratches head and re-reads the whole article again, then tried to remember anything, any iota of racially inappropriate anything about Speedy.
