It’s the same posturing we are used to seeing with North Korea... that is not up for debate. What everyone is alarmed about now is it is *not* the same posturing we are used to seeing from a US president; or really any other world leader except for PDRK.

The posturing is not the problem, it’s been the same for ages, the response from Dipshit Trump is the issue here. He’s more likely to turn this into a problem than North Korea at this rate.

This is an excellent point that is not emphasized enough. Why bother with nukes when you can kill way more people more accurately and leave much more contamination behind using nerve agents?

It feels fast because “journalists” like you have been beating the North Korea war drum for almost the entire presidency when in reality it is the same posturing we are used to seeing from North Korea with the exception of they actually are developing technology at a faster rate now.

It’s not so much the number of refugees (if every single NK fled to China, it only be a 1% increase to their population) but more so the fact that most NK have zero useable skills and are lacking in education. It be a huge burden on the state to train and educate them.

Bingo. A lot of the budget goes towards obscenely high salaries and just straight up embezzlement. The MTA needs to be completely transparent about where its budget goes, because I can guarantee that a large portion of their money goes nowhere useful.

How about this. Slash the pay of executives, I’m pretty sure most of them are paid over $150k. And I will get some hate for this, but maybe reduce the number of people you hire. Then take all those millions that you just saved and go from there.
