I agree with you, but I understand the thought there. I lived across the street from an abusive couple for years. I called 911 all the time to report a woman screaming for help. In those 3 years, I never saw the guy get arrested. And the cops were there about every other weekend.

I had a doctor talk me out of a diaphragm. He convinced me it was not reliable, and that if I was serious about not getting pregnant to do something else. This is not for me. BUT! My knee jerk reaction is to feel happy that the time and money went into the technology to better sex for women. Hopefully ENOUGH time and money, but you know, this sounds pretty cool.

We hit this wall with my husbands vasectomy. It became necessary after my doctor stopped prescribing my birth control pills when I told her we had made a decision to never have kids. She thought I was making a bad decision. The urologist thought my husband was making a bad decision. SUPER frustrating.
