They are too bloated, and they have to pay the drivers too much. The infrastructure costs a ton. Theybhad to severely discount the rates in order to attract customers away from cabs and public transit, and against each other (same thing happened with the 4000 scooter companues) A price increase now would mean less

The company does not “set” the price. They offer you a rate, and you have to choose to accept it or not. Thats part of the contract. If they negotiated with every driver for every ride, they could not operate just because of the logistics. If the drivers formed a commie union, tne company would set the rate with the UN

The driver has indeed negotiated the rate. They have agreed to that rate when they CHOOSE to drive for Uber or Lyft. The driver could have also chosen not to accept that rate and went with another ride share service, or not accepted to drive at all. And if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

GM’s got to HATE that guy. Really, ad agencies have to really hate him. Probably had a writeup about him in thier trade magazine.

We, we all know J.D. Powah certainly didn’t mean Chevy in that comment about American vehicles being behind on tech. After all, they've won so many J.D. Powah awards for awesomeness. Just ask Mahk!

Porsche, or poorsche, are still VW/Audi parts bin specials (except for the 911, which actually is fairly reliable if you want a sports car...and compared to the eye-talian or British brands, but still crap compared to japanese or korean cars) , so no to the reliability. Especially the SUVs since that is pretty much a

They used to be reliable. They still are above sversge, but Toyotas in gerneral arent as good as they used to be. Many other automakers, particukarly the Korean brands, are pretty much as good as Toyotas are lately. Maybe even better in some respects.

So. The drivetrain was wrong. The bars were wrong. The forks were wrong. Dude. You didn’t buy some vintage Schwinn for $150. You might want to stop referring to it as that. You got hosed. I have an 80's Schwinn road bike, still. And the frame is pretty much perfect. You probably got a cheap “walmart Schwinn” from much

What does this do to the battery? Rapid charging usually degrades the battery faster.

No, they weren't. They went along tonget along until a real president came into office. They went along to get that sweet bailout money. And they went along to avoid retaliation from the Obama administration with more onerous regulation.

I don’t know how any sane person can say Trump ISN’T for the average american. Middle and lower class tax breaks? Check. Reduced cumbersome regulations? Check. Best employmeht statistics this couhtry has ever had (pre-corona)? Check . Record stock market which directly effects both private retirement funds and public p

Wow, are you ever ignorant. None of those things were invented in California, first off. Second, that was a long time ago when California was still sane. And lastly, all of those industries are fleeing California because the nut jobs have taken over.

You meant to say too smart to vote any other way.”

Well, only to the stupid dirty commies, who actually LOVE totalitarian corrupt government control. They just dont want the cops to get in the way of their misguided and ignorant “revolution” by protecting propert and our constitutional rights. They are contradictions of themselves, which is how you know they are

Both. It makes sense for a CFO to come from the inside as they would already be intimately familiar with the health of the company and the detailed breakdown of the financial details. Something like CEO is more often brought in from the outside because the person is thought to have some kind of skill or direction the

Its another step up the corporate ladder towards CEO. Pure and simple. That option was not likely at GM. She can spend a few years here and then jump ship to another tech startup in the top position. And once you get to that level, you can easily move around from place to place, even if you suck at it.

Its just another step up the rung of the corporate ladder. At that level of executive, cost of living really doesnt matter. Going to a startup is most likely considered a very temporary move to learn tech corporate governance with the next step being a CEO of another startup after the first one fails. Her options were

One CFO does not a brain drain make. She is very young for that position anyway, and is merely climbing the corporate ladder. Drain some stupid startup of lots more cash than GM would pay you. Wait for it to fail. Repeat. Do that long enough and you’ll find yourself CEO somewhere. Its not like she needs a different

No. Advertising on anything or from any source really doesnt get me to buy anything.
