That is *hilarious* that they are using a loophole to make “replicas” of their own past cars. But I am surprised they are not offering the Plus Six. Seems like teh Mowar Powar brigage would be much more likely to stump up the cash, but they probably can manage to sell 325 cars here a year regardless.

I’ve still got the OG 15' 500e. It doesn’t get driven much anymore, but it’s a stupid reliable car. Literally never been in for any repairs. My only disappointment is the quality of the body parts, both the side skirt and spoiler have developed stress fractures that are probably not repairable. And the 500e specific re

I don’t know what Lexus is smoking, but there’s no way it’s gonna fit.

Thank you for using my photo!  I hope to have more next week when she departs Philadelphia.  If I have the opportunity to shoot her departure, I will post images to Wikipedia.

People will call the Bronco Ugly and somehow find this thing attractive.

Manual orders were 28%  the first year.  Would have been more but Ford forced you to choose between a manual and the V6.

“we’re going to make it an artificial reef” - sounds like a scam to dump it in the open ocean.

It’s truly a sight to behold. They tried to turn it into a museum for years. It’s sad they couldn’t get the funding for it.

For 2025, the cheapest way to get into a Bronco is the steel-wheeled base trim for pre-destination charge MSRP of $37,995". $6000 more than a base Wrangler??

Alternate headline:

Not exactly. For one thing, the C7 Corvette and 991 and 992 911s have had 7-speed manuals for years.

Square cup holders aren’t new. My family had an 8th generation Honda Civic and they had square cup holders with 4 of spring loaded bumpers coming in from the corners. It worked well enough to fit large cups and small cans. I’d have preferred it to have stiffer springs, but the concept was otherwise solid. Not sure why

Base model comes with a manual? Check. 4x4? Check. That’s something I would buy. Even has an I4. I would love this thing.

Kudos to the NHL for extending their influence into the automotive market.

Stanley was SO last year, the kids are on to the Owala bottles now.....

You’d figure since they made it an insert that they would also include one for regular cups and cans.

I have one of those Big Dumb Cups, and it fits just fine in my Mazda’s conventional round cupholder. Albeit you can only fit a single one and a regular sized cup at the same time.

Sounds like a great opportunity to 3d Print a square cup holder to hold whatever specific cup or mug you own.  I’d be ok with interchangeable cup holders if I was given a set of them with purchase of the car.  Of course they’d be lost by the time you buy a used one but all in all a potential solution for a problem

So the cup holder was designed for Big Dumb Cup got it.  Also than SNL Skit was freaking funny.

So interesting thing about this one - the ATC recording is already making the rounds of the interwebs. The tower had no idea about the crash until an airplane that had just gotten cleared to takeoff behind them advised the tower that they were stopping on the runway. The tower asked “why”, and they replied “there’s a
