4runner and new Land Cruiser are not 3 row.

Cus you never off-road and want to pretend you are going to tow 7 kids and a boat to the lake that you’ve never been to?

3rows.  This Land Cruiser is only a 5 seater.

This is a 5 seater from what I read.

The Tree is WAY bigger. 208 inches long versus 193

Toyota has too many large 3 row SUV/CUVs

I was thinking the same thing. I would totally hit this if it had a PHEV drivetrain to cruise around town in all electric comfort. A turbo-4 (the one they use in the Lex IS and NX)) would be a much better matchup with a larger electric motor and battery.

I really like those round headlights. But even the standard ones look really good with that front end. 10/10 Toyota great looking vehicle.

True, sadly most Prado buyers aren’t exactly looking for the same off-road performance/heritage since the Land Cruiser name has long become more associated with luxury and opulence. And anyone looking to off-road or overland a Land Cruiser still has the option of buying a 70-series in most countries outside the US.

Going J70 inspired is an interesting choice, since they were never sold in the US. I like it though. My only gripe is that in pictures the taillights seems sort of out of step with the retro design language. I also wonder if the iForce Max v6 setup from the Tundra would have been more appropriate. Won’t know until

Why buy a Sequoia?

The GX/Prado has traditionally been a bit larger than the 4Runner. I wonder if the T4R will get a bit of a diet.

One of the rare instances where I like the US grille better.

For those wondering, the rest of the world gets a more modern looking fascia for when this is sold as the Land Cruiser Prado.

I was in line for a gladiator till it ended up being a crew cab only - it’s too big for the places I want to take it, and won’t even fit in my garage. (Lots of jeep history here - 89 Cherokee, 96 Grand, 84 Grand Wagoneer, 16 Wrangler).

I don’t know that calling the Gladiator a “mini-pickup” is quite accurate... It’s not a whole lot smaller than the RAM, and is certainly bigger than pretty much any other “midsize” truck on the market.
I do see a fair number of them on the road though, so they seem to be at least reasonably popular (at least here in

I live in a western city that was full of Jeeps. The Gladiator was indeed a good move by Jeep. Between the Gladiator and the new Broncos the joke is that the Wranglers are quickly becoming the ride of choice only for chicks ‘n hicks.

They went full-on you can’t afford this with the McIntosh stereo. BMW and B&W partnership is the only more fancy thing I can think of.

Is anyone actually believing “the amount of raw materials” in one long-range battery electric vehicle could instead be used to make 90 hybrid electric vehicles? This certainly cannot be understood as written because one long range BEV does not have the mass of 90 hybrids. So at best this is a shockingly deceptive

The point about the charging infrastructure isn’t really valid. Most EVs are charged at home. Auto manufactures should provide a level 2 charger with each EV sold. When enough EV’s are on the road, our capitalists society will build out the infrastructure, why? Because if there is $$$$$ to be made, our society will
