You’re right on the Chevy interior being cheap. One of my sons said the same thing when we looked at one...and he’s 11.

Right, it’s that and the passenger’s side of the T-case that I’m most worried about.

But then, it’s worth noting that the ZR2 Colorado doesn’t even get a fuel tank skid plate. So there’s room for improvement across the board.

The TRD Pro is not a true comparison to the standard Ranger as the Taco Pro comes with some upgraded bits...It should be the Pro vs the ZR2 vs (insert Ranger special off-road trim here)

I just got back from Europe. A decent seat on a decent airline from Vienna to Lyon was $36 and about two hours. Sure, bag fees made that closer to $100, but still. A first class train ticket requires a transfer, takes 10 hours and was several hundred dollars—but at least you get to see some great scenery along the

Bias towards EVs is fine, but Electrek has been referred to as the house organ for Tesla.

I won’t badmouth the Model S...It looks like a more fluid A7 and I love everything about the A7.

CANYONERO!!!!!!

Yeah, the Big 2.5 really don’t do that well.  Toyota sticks them outboard, so if you put your wheel on a rock, your shock mount likely won’t hit anything.

As someone who gets my pickup out into dirt 30 weekends a year, I can’t emphasize enough how much hoods need to get shorter and lower. The bulges in my 3rd gen Tacomas hood are a pain in the ass, and I don’t even have the non-functional hood scoop. It’s a bummer that Ford has followed the same path here.

I actually asked the ZR2 engineers about those shock mounts on the launch and they said, “Eh, they’re strong, we need the shock travel, and besides you’d never get them caught up off-road.” But I side with you: seems like odd placement for an off-roader.

You’re missing the entire reason for buying Tesla stock now, which is the expectation of massive growth compared to BMW or any other legacy automaker. Sure BMW sells more cars and generates profits, but that likely isn’t going to increase that much so why buy the stock? If you believe that Tesla will continue their

Once again David you prove that you are the writer for me. Answering all my nerding questions without even having to ask.

I notice those inboard low-hanging shock mounts all the time when I’m driving behind Ford and Chevy full-size pickups. They just don’t look friendly to driving over stuff and I don’t know why they keep designing them that way. It’s also ugly and designers need to stop pretending we can’t see what’s under the rear

The approach angle is markedly lower than the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro’s 35 degrees

I’m just curious if the people who ordered in the week it was just $45,000 got away with it.

2nd Gear - I’m going to hazard a guess and say its the same reason Ford complained about a billion dollar hit in earnings.

I can barely stand to read Electrek because of their extreme bias.

1st Gear: I cannot recommend enough that everyone goes and watches Dirty Money on Netflix. If you can only be bothered to watch one episode, then watch the Third: Drug Short. It is eye opening how outrageously stupid prominent investors can be. I still want Tesla to succeed, but their stock price is built way more on

“Elon Musk has made such a sideshow of himself that people started to forget about — including myself — the underlying business,” Left said

Tesla also dropped the price off the dual motor by $1000, come on Jalopnik if you’re report it report the whole thing.
