It’s not zero, but pilots of electric school buses have shown that a 12 kW AC charging station works just fine. That’s just a big air conditioner.

Yeah. We were very interested in the Equinox EV... but now?

And it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy that the OEMs have been claiming for years now: “There’s no demand for EVs.”

We have a 2021 Highlander Hybrid. It does fairly well off-road. Thanks for this note; would hate to have the bumper come off in the middle of nowhere. Is there a separate recall for our Highlander’s horrific panel gaps?

A high school buddy drove an Axxess with a stick; it was awesome to drive, especially in helicopter mode. Another buddy’s family had a Toyota van with a stick. It spun on a dime. We called it the “leg press van” in denial of the realities of a frontal collision.

San Francisco resident here. This is bizarre, even by our “standards.”

Anything that rolls coal - bro-dozers, grow-dozers, and even clapped out old Mercedes 240D with biodiesel.

This. It’s like Baskin Robbins just offering a 10 scoop hot fudge sundae on the menu, but not chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry on their own. And when the line for the sundae gets shorter, they say: “See! No one wants ice cream.”

California updated its regs last summer (August, I think) to incentivize strong PHEVs starting in the 2026 model year. So in two years, we might actually see some more awesome PHEVs, especially in the large truck or SUV catagory.

Or Kodak.

True. Jeep did say to expect a Wagoneer 4xe sometime before 2025.

Any update on the on-again, off-again rumors of a PHEV version of the new Hurricane?

Keep: Buick, 911 Turbo, 912, project Boxster, Ambulance, Live Wire, BMW GS

Excuse me stewardess, I speak...

Too bad it’s not a good PHEV, the Honda version of the Volt.

Yup. The footprint exemption means a vehicle with a bigger wheelbase and width has lower requirements.

Yup. Hard to take the complaints seriously when the footprint rule still exists.

Or a heater...
