Too bad GM didn’t take the powertrain from the second gen Volt and put it into a nice looking crossover like this (or the Sorrento).
It was all downhill after this one:
So much this. I love our country (despite its faults), but our utter lack of any perspective beyond the next financial quarter is asinine.
This.
This. Many states, counties, and cities across the US from both parties are really hosed when it come to enough assets to fund their pension obligations.
Well, that’s the Bolt.
“Ground clearance and off-roading capability are probably not the most important things now.”
RIP. Sounds like Eddie liked his Jeep too:
I’ve heard to expect something akin to an Avalanche. (Shrug).
Or just update the crash / safety standards for belted (rather than unbelted) car occupants. Remember the airbag rules in the US when they first came out?
Pretty soon outward visibility will be a luxury feature.
Fun fact: the last car to offer a cassette deck in the US? The 2010 Lexus SC430 convertible.
Your mom is right. We are borrowing our sister-in-law’s 2006 Acura MDX. It’s a great station wagon, but the HVAC is bewildering. You have to authorize the map function (thanks, lawsuits!) every time in order to adjust the HVAC on the touch screen. WTF.
Yup. Appreciate the math. Many skip it. Drivers have to rest. Trucks can fuel - even recharge - then.
This. My ‘64 Willys Wagon has four gearshifts on the floor. Our EV? None.
Great overview. Thank you.
We had one for two years: the numbers worked out to be 20,000 miles and 5.5 gallons of gas. It’s the perfect commuter/city car. It’s a bit twitchy at highway speed (like driving a CJ7), the gauges seem to be inspired by a mid-80s Pontiac and the gas motorcycle engine is a total joke (good for the flats only really),…
Herzlichen Glueckwuensch. Viel Spass beim Road Trip!
Depends which California county one lives in. Some require smog checks every two years no matter what.
