They tried something similar from the Port of LA/Long Beach out to the inland warehouses and distribution centers. I think ultimately about two miles of highway was electrified (via an overhead catenary).

Crossfit, Tracyville.

So in other words, instead of going to Moab, Moab is coming to you... in a uniform and “please remit” paperwork.

11. Ate soggy sandwich from the cooler on a worn-out picnic table at a desolate and - in places - small public rest stop.

Whoever designed the Eclipse should be rewarded.

x2. Meanwhile upfront, the designers are going for the outward visibility of a Chevy Camaro or WWII battle tank.

To put that in perspective, all of Germany saw less than a quarter as many new cases as Florida yesterday despite having a population roughly four times as large.

Nissan LEAF or FIAT 500E plus Sawzall.

True.l All it needed was a CVT to hit rock bottom. I never understood why my peers had a poster of it on their wall back in the late 80s/early 90s instead of a Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari, etc.

Pillars are getting a bit more vertical, after years of shrinking, the greenhouse is getting higher again, and, thankfully, window area is increasing as well.

Isn’t that the ID4, which is bound for the US?

Here’s an easy homemade trap if you have a rodent problem: five-gallon bucket, a plastic soda bottle, a strong wire, two ramps (one on either side), and a dab of peanut butter. Punch a hole in the bottom of the soda bottle. Punch two holes in the side of the bucket, 180 degrees apart. String wire through soda bottle

Jon Hunt, Toyota’s head of commercialisation of hydrogen fuel cell cars, told Auto Express that manufacturing a lithium-ion battery for an electric car is a “very energy-intensive” process.

Yeah, for hybrids and plug-in hybrids I’ve driven a few: Fusion Hybrid. Fusion Energi. Prius Hybrid. Prius Prime. Volt Gen 1. Volt Gen 2, BMW X5 PHEV, i3 REx (technically not a PHEV but whatever), Pacifica (plug-in) Hybrid... many miles.

This.

How about this: the Prius is a hybrid tuned to save gas but like a Prius to drive. The Volt is a hybrid that also plugs into the wall and has significant “punch it Chewie” power.

It’s also clear what’s largely missing from that list (and even including the PHEVs): plug-in versions of crack cocaine, I mean mass market SUVs and crossovers, that we can’t get enough of.

Nicht wirklich. Kein Platz.

They are hella good, especially Gen 2, but you can’t beat Gen 1 for what it does for the price.

This.
