If you read their FAQ, you’ll see what I mean. They calculate your new taxes, but don’t include any savings from the plans they pay for. Unless my employer desides to just stop covering the extra amount they pay for my medical insurance (which they could, but it’s highly unlikely) then they will no longer be paying

Part of the extra taxes cover his healthcare plan, which means a good portion of them would be shifted to my employer who covers that now, as that is part of my employment benefits. That’s the huge majority of the tax increase from his plan on me, leaving me with only a few thousand more over what I pay now. Of

After investigating where the numbers came from, it makes more sense. They are actually showing a value that makes the plans look worse than they actually are, but lumping all tax increases together and not adjusting for savings from other areas that the tax increases offset. It’s quite misleading to just look at how

Yeah, that can’t be accurate. I can’t imagine that Bernie would suck as much out of my wallet as daycare for two small children already does.

You have the BGE90M listed as $43 but it’s $19.

I was trying to remember how it looked before. I think they always listed the prices first, then the project name/description, which is somewhat counter-intuitive as you are looking for the product, not the price you want, but the added focus of the green balls on the price draws all of your focus to them so it

Those look nice. That last one should be used to buy Lance Armstrong’s Autobiography :)

We are beating the green balls to death... so to speak. But I guess their intention was to draw attention to the price... the problem being, I’m not scanning the list for a price I want to pay, but for an item name/description I want to purchase, and THEN looking for its great or lackluster discount price. All I see

You could have stopped at “sucks” and we’d all agree.

What do the green balls represent anyway? I have noticed that most but not all deals listed have the green balls encapsulating their deal price. Are green balls great deals and no balls means moderate deal?

Seems a good deal, but there wasn’t much info on the keys... also, does this have a built-in keylogger from Lenovo? :)

Or at least repress us... the machine keeps us down!

I was thinking about commenting on this as well. The change to using the Green balls on some of the prices throws off the lists at the bottom a lot. I have a hard time looking at it and figuring out what I’m looking at. I mean, it’s doable, and I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but it’s not nearly as easy to read as it

Update: coworker just got home and told me that he received his TWC letter advising him of the internet speed increase to 300Mbit. He lives in Southern Indiana. So I guess unless something major happens, this thing is happening! Guess I need to buy that new modem.

The focus here got shifted to type of game v type of game as competition, and not game development v game development. Their case with the non-compete will most likely focus not on the games themselves, and their target audiences, but the fact that he got a job creating games, which is what he was doing before, and

I concur. I spent the time required to install Dungeon Defenders, then realized it wasn’t the type of game I like... meanwhile, I’m almost to 400 hours in Ark? Somehow I don’t think they are competing products in any meaningful way.

I’m hoping. Honestly, they probably have little choice if they want to get their hooks deeper into their customer base before people get fiber fever. I’ve been checking my speeds every night, though I think they plan to send out emails or something to let us know when we get the bump. I also dusted off my TWC email

Yep. Hehe, ours is Democrat.

Our mayor was really pushing for higher speed broadband in our area. They had several companies come out to give quotes for installation as a municipal service (the one I liked was the one running fiber through the sewer lines... I wonder if their customer service is crappy... get it?, anyway), and eventually we
