I should add, I can't imagine apps won't progress to utilize the higher performance of the new iDevices just like they do with Android devices, so buying 2 year old technology might cause new apps you want to use to not work as intended. I didn't really say it was obsolete, I just said it used really old hardware and that most of the people excited about it don't realize that.
