I remember 1969, and it didn’t look like that.

My grandmother would LOSE HER GODDAMN MIND over this house.
haha. I actually toured this house a few weeks ago. the pictures don’t do this any sort of justice. the kitchen, however, is not a good look.
I WANTS IT.
You left some of the best pics out. It’s hard to believe this was once considered classy, but I grew up in the 80s, so I guess I should stfu. Oh, and popcorn ceilings! The worst.
Oh my god, that sitting room is almost amazing enough to make me forgive the decorator for everything else. Almost.
That isn’t a house - it’s a national treasure!
Are those the original ‘69 curtains, bedspreads, dust ruffles and other linens? I can’t imagine them lasting that long even if you never washed/used/touched them. Maybe there’s a super-secret warehouse stuffed to the rafters with vintage linens that only people who own such homes know about?
I respect this person’s dedication to monochromatic room decor.
be still my heart. I love this house.
Some things cannot be made more perfect. This is one of those things.
The house where orgies go to die.
I love it.
The green floral couches look JUST like one my great-grandmother had, but hers were in the brown/orange family
That house is glorious. I hope the new owners have the good sense to leave it alone and invite me to sleep over. I’ll bring the Jell-O casserole.
Yes please! This place is kitsch heaven- all it needs is a doll collection.
THIS IS MY DREAM
Has Marie Lodi seen this!?
Monochromatic decorating is sooooooo my bag. I want to live here. That green room... SWOON.
Honestly, this is how I’ve always imagined all of Palm Springs to look.
