Iron Fist wasn’t remotely as bad a show as many would make it out to be for a variety of reasons, and in fact it was better in some ways than much of the rest of Marvel/Netflix (a whooooole lot of boring-ass Luke Cage during a very extended “middle” section, I’m looking at you after you got me hot and bothered with

It was a dramatic and awful rebuke of the sort of moral core Star Trek has prided itself on for decades, and a low point for the series.

You know, I don’t recall seeing actual proper feet in Bay movies either...Hmm

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let’s not ask for the impossible here!

Coherent directing and editing?

A plot?

“Originally when Alex [Wolff] and Morgan [Turner] kiss, we start hearing the drums again and then everyone gets the game downloaded on their phones. Then it’s like, ‘Oh, shoot! We’re all going to be sucked in.’ That would have been a cool way to go.”

Jumanji 7: Watch Out for That Tree!

Jumanji

Well New Order came out of Joy Division, which was devastated by the loss of their previous leader, Ian Curtis.

People can kiss my butt. I actually want to know what Snokes backstory is. Especially since it’s been said he’s supposedly more powerful than the emperor. How did he build up the New Order? How is he so powerful? There’s nothing wrong with wanted to know some information about a seemingly fascinating character.

I liked his Batman for just one line in JL: “I have a contingency.”

After Batman vs Superman I wouldn’t care if he showed up again. After Justice League? That guy? Yeah I’d like to see more of that version of Batman.

Fans pre-Dec. 15:

Isn’t Kylo the one who told her about her parents?

I agree with much of what you say, but I really really liked that Rey’s parents were nobodies. It means the Force is more democratic, and isn’t purely a blue-blood royalty hereditary sort of thing. It’s time to move beyond the Skywalker family, perhaps

Funnily enough, I loved this movie for the exact same reasons you hated it, my dude

Stuff I liked:

I think the more I realize he’s exactly like Anakin was supposed to be portrayed when he turned to the dark side, the more I understand what they were going for. There are still problems with the character, but I understand the full intention.

1) Yup. In my theatre more than a few people uttered things like that. JJ basically throwing in an as-yet-unseen force talent in the opening minutes of the movie? So well done. It sets Kylo apart immediately.
