What are everyone's thoughts on buying a first motorcycle with carbs vs. fuel injection? How difficult/fiddly is it to keep carbs clean & tuned?

That makes me wonder how difficult it is for certain nationalities to have their surname translated. Just looking at Elis Island way back when, as an example. Are there certain Western consonants or sounds that just don’t work with Japanese very well?

I can absolutely agree with the mental fatigue. The course was over two weekends, for a few hours each day. 3 hours in the warm September sun, with a helmet and long jacket on? Sweat was pouring off, and I was frazzled.
Took the MSF course last September, and I think a similar course should be mandatory for all new drivers. It really showed me how easy it is to turn off your brain while driving a car.
If that’s a Big Boy, would a modern version be called An Absolute Unit?
While I too will be preaching for a wagon, my suggestion would be a used Volvo V60 Polestar. Swedish design and Swede speed
