It’s almost like...making decisions that screw the everyday consumer...are bad? Who would’ve guessed?
On the one hand, a four-cylinder 1LE sounds like a great way to get into autocross, and another way to show off the Alpha platform’s handling chops.
So long as there is adequate protection—both legal and personal padding—and some way to vet renters and rentees, I think it’s a great idea to make motorcycles more accessible to people. I don’t think it’s going to become the next ZipCar, but as a way to share the enthusiast love, I hope it succeeds.
