Don’t worry, I just called 911 to tell the hospital to prep the burn unit.

Isn’t that what’s become of Jalopnik?

I don’t care if it’s the same old thing. It’s the same old thing that keeps bringing me back for the 10 years I’ve been watching their various shows, reading their books and following their antics. I even paid for motor trend TV to rewatch the old TG shows.

hatin’ and being edgy gets the clicks, now

Eh. It will likely still make me chuckle. Seamen had some funny moments.

I remember when Jalopnik used to enjoy and encourage car culture

I wear a mask, and harbor much hatred for those who don’t. Stern doesn’t live in the real world, though. He lives in a lab.  And really?  Headlights and pandemics are the same?

I wouldn’t take Stern’s word for much.

The most severe act of abuse?

This case would be quite different if she only killed herself. But this isnt just a suicide story. This is a child-murder story. We don’t give passes to pedophiles just because the pedophiles were abused at some point. Whatever her intentions for killing the child, there is no justification.

She killed a child. She didn’t drop the child off at a police station. She didn’t drop the child off with family. She dropped the child off a building. She was the worst abuser.

This a million times. Hope she burns in hell. I would have had nothing but sympathy for her if she jumped alone. But she murdered a child. Nuh uh. No domestic violence sympathies for this child murderer.

I think you’re both right. She was clearly mentally ill, desperate, and likely a victim of abuse. At the same time, she murdered her son which makes her the worst abuser of all.

Im sorry, but fuck her. She’s no different than any of those assholes who murder their wife and kids then turn the gun on themselves. Throwing your seven year old child out of a window is the most severe act of abuse you can commit. She was an abuser.

This became America’s new normal after Sandy Hook. Very young children died and all anyone had for them is thoughts and prayers. If children that young can be the target of gun violence and nothing changes, what the hell would cause any change?

I absolutely love these articles and wish Jalopnik did more of them. Kudos.

I always wished there was a time traveling A-10 movie where the pilot just interferes with historical battles while smoking a cigar and laughing like a maniac.

I don’t see why that would matter. Like the First Amendment, the Fifth Amendment protects you from actions by the state and not a private entity like the NFL. You have the right not to testify against yourself, but you don’t have a right to continued employment by a private company.

Obligatory. No buzzing the tower.
