I don’t know who all these assholes are that keep flooding these posts with their negative BS. They never have first hand experience. Just horror stories they’ve “heard” or imagined.

I must seem like the most negative, argumentative poster on here but these numbers look off. 50,000 pounds of turkey? Say the average turkey weighs 16 pounds. That’s only 3, 125 turkeys to feed the entire armed forces of the USA.

Uparming the Kurds would be the most effective and hands off approach for the Russians. Give them some serious high tech weaponry and let them take the fight inside Turkey’s borders. Ground launched cruise missiles and SA300s would be perfect.

Turkey is basically trying to provide air cover to the Syrian Rebels/Turkmen/ISIS factions. They have also provided supplies, training and safe harbor to ISIS.

I lived there back in the 1980s. Seemed pretty secular at the time. It’s changed. There is a core of modernity but Turkey was far better off when the generals ran it. Its a consistently Islamist country now and trending more so. They are not part of the West.

Maybe they could just drop concrete munitions and take out a port a potty? Its a war. Kill them all and let God sort them out.

We have all these airframes in storage. Stealth is way over rated. The USAF inventory is dropping at an alarming rate. Can we not pull a ton of these things out, upgrade them and put them back in service?

The Russians are doing God’s own work in Syria and I support them. I read Tyler’s work all the time and I plan to continue to do so. If I have any criticism it is that he bought into the American fear of collateral damage. War is hell. Wipe the place clean if need be. In the long run there will be fewer causalities.
