Look at that hero shot, Sam’s in the upper right hand corner. He and Rhodey are bookending the shot.

“Get this man a shield.”

He’s from Brooklyn. He’s an OG hipster and sounds like the douchebag you’d imagine he is.

It wasn’t until I heard him speak that my intense dislike for him started. I’d seen pictures and thought he looked like some douchebag hipster, and then I heard him speak and it was all confirmed. Dude makes two good movies and has been coasting on that rep ever since.

Her stats are not off. I mean I don’t think feeding kids to the wolves is a good remedy but her basic thesis is pretty solid.

YESSSSSSS!!!!!!

I am so looking forward to causing this reaction in my children.

I can’t wait until I’m so old I can do this shit knowing at the end of the day I’ll be quietly taken home and given high quality medication.

I’m shocked, shocked that a racist white guy is out on bail for threatening to kill a black progressive politician. Shocked I tell you.

This is perfect. Thank you.

Insecure is a THOUSAND times better than Girls. And everyone is compelling.

I dunno, I think Roy Moore and Jeff Sessions are tapped into a hidden supply. There’s a lot of it.

Stelfreeze only does I think maybe 7 of the first 12 issues but holy shit he’s on fire. Not that he ever phones it in, but he hit that series like he was on a mission. TNC takes awhile to get moving as a writer but it looks so gorgeous it doesn’t matter. Since they’re all over six months old, pop $10 for a month on

I’m hip to that. I think we’ve seen a big shift since the Priest run and the current book towards that, and especially with Brian Stelfreeze and his AfroTech approach to drawing Wakanda (which the movie seems to lean on heavily). Seeing the Stelfreeze animation for T’Challa’s helmet going on... I let out such a fanboy

I’ve always taken Wakandan Super Science as a given and not seeing magic as a part of it. It struck me as closer to the Inhumans than anything else in the Marvel universe: High tech and deliberately set apart from the rest of humanity.

Look at her resume on IMDB. She’s got the goods. It’s not shocking to me Coogler pulled her for this gig and she totally killed it. Everything about this movie looks gorgeous.

I think Luke Cage breaking Netflix is a good indicator of the piles of money this movie is going to print. The 50% drop off that normally happens in a movie’s second week is going to get waxed.

The Wakanda Super Science was one of the reasons I loved Al Ewing’s Ultimates and Ultimates2.

Remember how shook Ross was and how giddy Klaw looked?

The idea of just asking what she needs in the moment is so goddam simple and makes a huge difference. Rather than wasting my energy trying to figure out on my own how I can help, just asking my partner what she needs (most of the time it’s just listen and empathize with her when she’s frustrated) is so easy to do.
