I definitely agree with everything that you're saying except when you label the first Thor movie 'shitty'. As a comic book fan, I thought that movie is pretty entertaining and well done for trying to introduce a mainstream audience to the somewhat complex back story of a Marvel character.

I didn't see it, but I was surprised that it was omitted from the animated nominees because it seems like it was well done and well received. I hadn't even heard of some of the other nominees, but I don't have kids and didn't live in the U.S. for most of 2014.

Is it too much to ask to have the character behind the Simpsons quote? Some aren't always obvious.
