I am really curious to know how people can spend 20 years living in a post-9/11 world and still think it’s okay to bring a loaded gun on a plane. Do they think they’re somehow an exception, or are they so gun-crazed that they legitimately forget they’re carrying one and try to get on a plane with it?

Nope. That’s super ageist. People should lose their licenses when they can’t pass a driver’s medical/driver’s test. If their eyes are good, if they have mobility, if they have good reactions, and good cognitive function, then they can pass a driver’s medical.

If someone who was not a police officer engaged in this exact behavior they would be going to jail right now for decades. Can someone explain to me like I’m 5 years old why this officer is not going to jail?
