PS Why am I still grayed out after all this time? Can someone on The Root follow me, please?

He’ll be fine. I am sure the GOP is already inviting him to dinner.

3rd gear - Fixed it for you.

We can always hope his new neural link either has an off-switch or allows him to be reprogrammed as a human being.

Corsair was originally the second most luxurious model in the Edsel lineup, sharing the large Mercury-based chassis with Citation.

I guess all the owners that bought cars without radar are f——d. You can’t do an OTA update to add a missing piece of hardware. Does Tesla even know how to physically repair a car?

Seeing the new Prius made me think there might be hope for Toyota after all. Reading this just erased that thought.

Now playing

1st gear - Extreme price gouging and looking for loopholes to slip out of of customer reservations on hot products makes folks not too sympathetic about dealer conversion to EV costs. Besides, they’ll be just fine and probably even come out ahead several grand by adding it onto the sticker as special $10-25K EV

2001 is calling and they want their fake coupe styling back.

While a no-nonsense approach to SUV design is a welcome change of pace, taken to this extreme it reads to me as every bit as pretentious and desperate for attention as something overly fancy.

VW is famous for showy Photoshop renders that never make it to market looking a quarter as good as the fantasy art.

So many Jalopnik articles that I’d otherwise read that I don’t because they are slide shows.

That, or it belongs in a museum. Many more people will get to experience it if it never leaves the ground again than they would if it returns to the skies.

Hoping Pepsi doesn’t go big into Tesla trucks as I am perfectly willing to switch brands or give up the habit altogether to not put money in Musk’s pocket.

If you made a long list of bad places to try to save money, tires would be near the top of the list. Those savings would go away really fast when you had to pay the out of pocket deductible on your collision claim, then go well into the negative with the depreciation on your wrecked car.

With US soon to follow. Between Musk’s personality being on display for all the world to see and all the newer EV options on the market, it won’t be long.

I just always thought this was a pretty awkward shape, and a real shock to one’s system after getting used to the gorgeous Capri (the sleek coupe that preceded it, not the sad 90s econovertible that followed).

It was a tidy design that still looks good now. Too bad they didn’t just say hey, let’s make this a $4,600.00 car, so we can launch a brand that’s not garbage. Oh, and maybe engineer it so a 35 mph crash wasn’t expected to transform the driver and front seat passengers into vegetables.

Sounds like a good reason to switch brands. That’s the only way these companies will stop doing stupid stuff.
