For this kind of coin? Pretty sure you haven’t looked at Lincolns of this era much. People pay this kind of money for nice examples of boring 80's Town Cars.

It looks like a the same team that designed the sad Dart designed this.

What creeps me out is avatars of adults that look like they are at least 3-4 years away from puberty. Shudder.

Admittedly Volvo/Polestar does some of the best looking vehicles currently on the market. And I appreciate the effort to visually slim the car, but it still reads a bit portly in the middle, in that unfortunate way Dodge Challenger looks portly in the middle. And I’m not saying you should have to lay down to drive it,

It’s gross. I think (hope? pray?) they were going for a long “I” sound and didn’t realize it would read like the short “I” sound.

Daddy Like - Dorky but harmless
Daddy Lick - Ewwwwwwwwwww

It’s interesting and deserves a good home, but maybe that leading four and three in the price need flipped.

The upcoming mid-terms will be the most important election in living history. If we lose the midterms, the already formidable gerrymandering and voting restrictions current in place will be magnified to the point fair elections won’t be possible in a large swath of the country for 2024.

I really enjoyed reading this.

1st gear - I am on the fence about the final assembly stipulation of the EV tax law because it’s not going to push EV adoption forward, but I do heartily applaud the price and income cut offs.

Paying quite a bit extra to get something substantially not better looking.

Poor 9m (formerly GM), they just can’t get anything right.

I bet everyone that used to kvetch and moan about people cruising like it was the end of the world wishes they had kept their damn mouth shut.

I don’t understand why no one had found the money trail leading back to Oshkosh that explains why these outdated, hideous pieces of shit are even in the running. There is no other possible explanation for the USPS trying to build a new from the ground up solution that isn’t needed.

Plus, the Amazon trucks are going to

Sorry, it just looks like any old used Mercedes to me. Were I to suddenly have a budget of $762,000.00 to spend on a dream car, I can think of a lot more fun ways to do it. Maybe something along the lines of this, with enough left over to build a nice house and garage to keep it in...

Importing some exciting Holden and Opel products without tarting them up with Pontiac flourishes might have prevented GM from collapsing in on itself to the degree it did. G8 was just too grotesque looking to care about the specs.

The Empire says no.

The all-in pivot to EVs and self-driving in such a short span are what shock me. One needed, one a complete WTF squander of resources if you ask me.

And since we can’t go EV overnight what really bugs me is how we are just leapfrogging over hybrids for the most part.

Looks like a villian from low-budget Disney sci-fi movie.

Spuds Mackenzie’s urine tastes better than Bud Light.

In other news, water is still wet and the sun is still hot.
