I don’t really consider this a custom, and if it’s mechanically sound, it’s a hell, yes. The ugly two-tone gingerbread on the doors needs to go and the roof needs to match the rest, but otherwise, very nice. Later 1970s Cadillac wagon conversions from the clamshell era don’t read nearly as factory as this one does.

Of all brands that should not be fucking with customers, Infiniti is probably at the top of the list. Make those folks mad enough and they’ll realize the only worse choice they could be making in regards to quality and resale in this segment is Lincoln.

Second gear: Yes, try out a Crosstrek. Then try out an Impreza wagon and say to yourself, gee, this is easier to get in and out of, costs less, and has far less crap adorning the exterior and the dealer is more willing to deal on it. Three guesses which one anyone that’s not a sheeple is going to prefer. By a wide

Exactly what I was going to say, the south border will be lovely beachfront property with white sand and palm trees.

Ugh, welcome to one percenter collector cars? Collector cars aren’t just Pebble Beach you know, cars mere mortals can actual afford to own and drive are part of it as well.

That level of retro belongs on vintage cars, and the correct tires and wheels is one of the first things I look at, but no one would buy a contemporary product riding on tall and skinny wheels.

Damn, I knew down deep designing a classically beautiful car with contemporary materials and methods was possible, finally, here’s the proof.

I agree, but think we need to take it one step further and say all of Tik Tok needs to die. Besides terrorizing pets it encourages people to eat Tide Pods, run stop signs and do no end of stupid, inconsiderate, and dangerous things.

1st gear: Anyone catch VW’s new music video describing their product innovation strategy?

I’m fine treating them like terrorists, because there’s really nearly no distinction at this point.

Getting the snub from CR and the self-inflicted PR wound of the century all in the same day. I didn’t think Musk could top the incredible low of the “pedo” comment, but damn, was I wrong.

I don’t know whether it’s more or less scary that people like this aren’t even attempting any sort of veneer of normality at this point.

You know, I’m upset Torch and David left as well, but that’s no excuse to be a little turd towards Erin who has been covering issues like this for quite some time.

OKAY, really trying not to get hysterical here, but greatly fear Jalopnik not being able to keep it weird enough without you and David!

Screw the dealers. MRSP+ and greed = Karma coming to bite your ass.

Damn that’s ugly. The white part looks like the car is wrapped in a protective shipping container.

It’s funny, I never looked at a 300 and thought gee, that looks narrow, but it looks startlingly narrow next to the Tesla. Just a weird angle?

And I really feel this guy, I tend to do big over corrections myself, going from wildly impractical RWD pony cars (for someone who lives where there are real winters) to

OK, what voodoo do I need to go to get videos to show up on Jalopnik? No issues anywhere else, but all I see is a big space where something is supposed to be.

Seriously, plus it’s vomit-inducing hideous.
