After Dark Coop assaulted her, she learned of the alternate dimension and she's the millionaire who's been watching the portal in NY for Coop's return. She holds the key to trigger Dougie Coop back to Dale. She will also bring an end to the Richard Horne plot.

An all-female cast isn't a gimmick per say, but becomes more of a gimmick when it's the exact opposite of the original, plus when one of the original cast tossed it out as an idea in lieu of his participation. If it's a reboot, why does it have to be a single gender team at all.
