Them being paid millions for their current labor doesn’t change the fact they were exploited by KU for their past labor. Those kids should be getting paid. That’s inarguable.

Pelicans can win with Davis and Cousins together, maybe not a title in the GW era, but they can be a top 5 team.
Uh, no dude. At most the top one or two players get cherry-picked every season, and that would be one phenomenally-stacked roster. The rest get, at most, a piece of paper with an official market value of about $176,000 (assuming you came from out-of-state) in exchange for labor that has a market value worth millions…
“AND WE’RE GONNA RUN THE GOT-DAMN COMMIE PINKO SUMBITCHES WHO DID IT OUT OF OFFICE!!!” -Kentucky voter, between hits from his government-subsidized nebulizer.
“The problem with socialism is, at some point, you run out of the student-athletes’ money.”
If anything, his style is a form of socialism. He would get top recruits, any of which could have been “the man” at another school, and got them to give up their own personal statistics for the good of the team. Also, nobody was paid and he made millions. Wait, that’s communism. My bad.
It is still unclear to me what or whom Kawhi has had enough of.
Well since the Lithuanians have now made the man an assistant coach of his son’s team during a psuedo-tournament bearing his brand’s name he will become ridiculously more empowered.
Remember when KD threw one oop to Russ in last year’s All-Star game and everyone thought they were friends again? Good stuff.
I can accept a reality where someone like Nassar exists. That an individual might be so deranged or downright evil to commit these acts, it is appealing but not beyond belief.
“A doctor should be trusted above just about any other professional.” I’m afraid that there are more like this guy out there. More than anyone want to realize.
Of all the harassment stories that have surfaced in the last few months, this case is, in my opinion, easily the most sickening. It makes me choke up when I read about how manipulative this fucking skid mark was, and is still trying to be. It’s not just the abuse itself that is horrific. It’s the gaslighting.
piggy backing on your point, she must love how much of a spectacle this has become for her $ bottom line. feels gross. i guess there’s a market for everything.
Yes, every defendant, even Nasser have a right to a lawyer, but man is Shannon Smith tough to like. She’s actually proud of being a sex offender lawyer. An excerpt from her web site advertising her services:
I’d like to throw Byron Scott into this discussion.
Next thing you know they’ll be bringing in realty TV stars like a NBA coaching job is just some frivolous thing to give to anybody who says they’re qualified enough.
Two angles, zero watchable videos.
First there’d be some screed from Lonzo Ball’s dad that it’s a great fit because you need a point guard to teach a point guard, not some wing scrub like Walton. Then after an 0-10 start something about how Lonzo Ball is being held back by a jealous coach who knows Lonzo is a better point guard.
I would argue that David Blatt was dumber. I’ll never understand drawing up a play for LeBron to inbound the ball on a last second shot. Inbound? Not even serve as the most dangerous decoy in the game, but to be the guy who inbounds the ball? Go straight to hell, David Blatt. You cannot be a coach anymore.
Yeah, if I’m a Bucks fans, I’m not crying over spilt soda over this.
