Is there any particular reason why you hold SNL to a different standard than 'The Kids in the Hall' or 'Monty Python' or even 'Mr. Show'? SNL is many times more diverse, since those guys were entirely white men.

SNL still has the virtue of being several times more diverse than The Kids in the Hall, Monty Python, The Whitest Kids You Know, and now The Birthday Boys. Which are ENTIRELY white men. In fact, SNL currently even has the same ratio of homosexuals as KITH.

If you read 'Live from New York: An Uncensored History of Saturday Night Live' you really see what a cut-throat environment SNL really is for the performers and writers though, and a featured player that doesn't factor into enough sketches isn't going to be kept on retainer for whenever they need an asian guy. Hoo-boy. We have different standards.
Have they dipped into the MAD TV talent pool before? I mean, they were sort of lopsided rivals once, but I think they probably could now since it doesn't seem to be syndicated. Jordan Peele certainly does a better Obama impression.

Quick, name the funniest asian you can think of!

He's 0% black, and he did Obama for several years. At first I thought he was great, the "keep it cool" sketch was a good impression. Towards the end though, there was hardly any impression to be found, and I was glad when Pharoa replaced him.
In a similar vein, Darrel Hammonds impression of Jesse Jackson has been the

It sure seems like SOME channel needs to make a video game review centric show though, given that video games make more than the movie industry. As for the fate of X-Play and Attack of the Show, well I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did. They'd been hanging on since it was culled to transition to TechTV. I

The hand buzzer scene was pretty shockingly violent for a non-R rated movie at the time.

He doesn't seem particularly menacing untill the 'pencil trick' scene. He's kind of portrayed in any action scene as an unhinged knife-fighter, he couldn't take Batman in an evenly challenged martial arts standoff, but he never really tries to.

That baby is fat.

Well, everyone knows Boba Fett died at the Great Pit of Carkoon. What this book presupposes is… maybe he didn't?

Who's your father?
His name is Anakin Skywalker.
You told us he was already dead.
Yeah, well, now he's really dying.

I hadn't seen it before, and I'm a huge C.K. fan. Look, comedians do material. You're familiar with the concept of the tight-10? Right? You try stuff out before you add it to your act to see if it works, and boil your act down into something you know can kill with any crowd. When you've made the material available on

Technically, Obama's advisor would be either Iblis or Shaytan.
