Below my reply will be a lot of people generalizing about all players. “It’s all nostalgia and everyone will hate it!” “This is what WoW is!!! The players will come back” without acknowledging, in a player base as large as WoW has had, there’s lots and lots of different types of players.

I keep wondering the same thing. I wish they would bring in expansions but with the same design philosophies as vanilla through WotLK. Keep the game interesting and challenging from levels 1 to whatever. The only thing I loathe about contemporary WoW is how the old content is still there but it’s face rollable, and

this is now what sabermetrics says. in many ways, sabermetrics throws out a book, replacing it with data-based decisions. IF it could be shown that Hill was just as good after 91 pitches at 1, sabermetrics would say “keep his ass in there” (sabermetrics has a filthy mouth). You also have to realize that sabermetrics

By encouraging their employees to at last speak publicly about work conditions, Rockstar appeared to be getting on top of this issue in an effort to burnish the mega-studio’s reputation in the public eye leading into the release of its first new game in half a decade.”

This is one of the best reviews ever. It doesn’t always hit the mark with the humor, but the depth of the review, the passion of the reviewer for the game, and the amazing level of detail about the mechanics and aesthetics of the game is transcendent. I saw Tim Rogers speak at GDC and his passion made me play a lot of

New ownership, though. I’ve liked the new owners. I dunno, I’m in Milwaukee now. I miss the Hammer Kids.

Moved away from Bay Area 3 years ago. A’s fan. Don’t understand article; the new ownership has done a lot to get a new ballpark built, restructure to have long-term contracts for the first time, and - in a move designed to show distance from Raiders - go with the Rooted in Oakland publicity campaign to be part of the

I don’t have time to watch this now...but seeing the credits for this (which is a who’s who of TSR in early 80s), I can’t wait to later. Thank you.

paul ryan and mitt romney. i dont like ‘em, but theyre handsome empty suits.

I love this article. I would just like to point out, in the interest of fairness, that all sides of the culture debate are guilty here. I think a certain white man in power is the perfect symbol for it, but there’s plenty of ideological foxholing on the other side, too. And it’s disrupting any belief in the power of

Aren’t you just repeating what the article said? I don’t see any different between your point and his.

* now. sheesh

Thanks for this. As a Buffalo expatriate, I’m not going to check out Points East. Glad you liked Milwaukee. My mileage has varied.

Don’t buy this. I’m new to MKE, but haven’t yet met a Brewers attendee from Waukesha. All I’ve met are MKE locals.

Also, the whole team stood up for him and I think the fans were thinking - we’re all the Brew Crew so we all support our own.

I was at the game. As a Clash liberal, I never even once considered this hot take on what the applause meant. I didn’t stand and clap, nor did anyone around us, but I can see people supporting a dude they like, who really - and we’ve been inundated by this in MKE - seems EXTREMELY contrite, and rather genuine.

pilot field is amazing - better than most mlb stadiums

I disagree - his defense, including his non-called foul on Hazard was key to this game. Yeah, he’s supposed to put the ball in the net, but if you can’t do that, then damn make sure the other team doesn’t. His defense was stellar - and you didn’t see Hazard or Lukaku doing it on the other end.
