I currently use a hacked Nook e reader as it can support all e book types and I can use the Kindle app. But I want to get a Kindle Paperwhite. Can you side load non-kindle books on it to read, such as .epub files or the non kindle e books that you can check out from the library?

I may give this app a try because I use my Android to scan paper documents into my evernote account all the time, but sometimes it takes a few shots to get it to look good and not be washed out. I used to have an iPhone and the evernote app in iOS worked better for taking pictures of documents.

What are those called? I haven't seen those since I went to Malaysia about 10 years ago. The little shops made coffee with these things, and then added condensed milk. It was good, but it was weird seeing them dip these things into a big metal container to get our coffee.
