I think it is simple business. Sell a lot of these editions to day one adopters and you risk not selling enough of the NON-limited edition.

I agree Mike. My U plays lots of TV. Netflix, Hulu plus, and sometimes Prime. But, you know. That TVii thing just never worked more than just acting like a shell of what would or could come.

Announcing Super Smash Bros. for Wii U hurt 3ds sales. Imagine what it could do for this already, hard to profit from game.

Jason, I read Kotaku everyday. This thread is not helping me. I am a working professional. I can't make pre-orders, in store during the working day.


Hear me out please because I have some good ideas.
I love Nintendo Products. I have bought 4 3DS models. FOUR! I own a Wii U and I got it on DAY ONE.

UPDATE 15 (1/23, 11:16am): Some GameStops are again taking a limited amount of in-store pre-orders, so call your local store and see if they've got one. Just called my store on 86th Street and Lexington here in Manhattan and they're taking pre-orders right now. Be warned: you'll have to pay in full, same as last week.

I actually completely disagree in that, the first two were utterly a waste of time. They were pretty, (sometimes) and full of action but the third movie really felt like the movie Peter set out to make before the studios milked as much as they could from the series.
