Thank you for mentioning the parents. This is really there doing. I hope they are handing out an appropriate and just punishment.

It was a charter school which, at least where I am, takes an active choice to attend. I was a foster parent for many years and all the policies I saw in this day and age are very concise and clear. It was Mom’s choice to send her there and her obligation to make sure the policies actively protected her child.

Please re-read the thread, I was answering someone else’s question. I apologize if I made it look like that was intended for you.

Have a good day! :)

I should add the reason they would need to re-take the courses is they would have missed the final. This was just the way it was where I grew up. it doesn’t cover the whole state I am sure.

Just read this, and you have no clue who I am or what my racial background is just as I don’t make any assumptions about you.

If you keep this up people will think this is just a set-up to prove a point.

Wisconsin.

Thanks :)

Nothing to say but profanity? If you cant advance the conversation you really have nothing to say.

Disregarded. Please be civil if you want to debate.

First, name calling and profanity invalidates your argument right from the start. Going to this school was a choice. In making that choice I am sure the parent was supplied with rules of conduct and discipline. She knew up-front how things are handled. Let’s reverse the situation, what would the response be then? If

if its not race it’s something else. I am sure these boys are opportunity jerks.

Where I come from that suspension would lead to them having to re-take the classes from the beginning. I am sorry the Mother didn’t like the punishment the kids got. She should try to get the rules changed or find a different school. Retaining an Attorney just makes this looks like she wants to get paid.

I was a foster-parent for 5 years. I saw stuff like this and worse. The only thing I can say is at least they didn’t find and unsecured, loaded handguns laying around.

Theatre and Art are mirrors of our society. I am scared when someone goes around trying to cover them. Trump is going to try and get a law that makes it illegal to criticize the President.

Just as original as a personal jab with nothing to say. If you have something to add to the discussion, please proceed.

Thats a slippery slope. What other things do we let slide? Right now our laws are as they are. If we want to change them, fine. Until then, you break the law you take your chances just as in any other illegal act.

Earlier this year I read some bits from this little girls journal. I just had to go into the rest room at work and weep. The things she wanted and hoped for were so simple and basic I felt guilt for not being able to help her.

I am thinking there isn’t more of this happening these days, it’s just that more is being recorded and reported. Also I think that physical intervention here was appropriate when the spitting started. Words are no excuse to get violent.
