You’re missing the point. It’s not about quantity of the product. It’s about the rights of the owner to have control over their product.

What Nintendo is doing is being incredibly smart.

Sort of. I get not being able to keep the whole Pokedex forever but I think much of the angst is that Pokemon is finally coming to a full console and yet it still feels like a portable game.

Not really. The entity/person who owns the product, has the exclusive right to decide where and who gets access to THEIR product within the law.

But this should never be phrased as an argument about physical goods versus digital ones.

Exactly. Its amazing how badly people want to come up with some reason that it’s okay to take something they have no right to.

You have no way of knowing how much or how little of that would have been sales.

But that is literally his day-to-day job. It wasn’t anything exceptional or out of the box. It’s like an accountant’s manager telling him good job every time he sent out an invoice or something.

Lol, okay.

Great, after 30 hours of lots of fun, stop playing. If you’re having trouble with pacing, that’s on you since it’s an open world game. You go at your own pace and the game scales with you.

It’s not your thing. That’s totally fine. But it was a lot of fun and a structurally and technically great game.

If by “saved” you mean going back to shallow, broken gameplay.

Intent is not motive

I was talking about small is in, petty or limited in potential/ability.

Oh, you think little referred to your height?

Bwhahahahahaha! For real? Did you just pull a “I know you are but what am I” level insult?

You sound like a terrible, angry little human

What about stepping up to the ledge of the plateau for the first time and seeing that whole beautiful world before you?

I get where you’re coming from but to me, Zelda had become stagnant and boring. BotW was a huge improvement.

It seems like the Bethesda crowd is always VERY overly excited. I don’t know it it’s plants or their hardcore fan base is really hardcore but their E3 conference is full of people going absolutely nuts every year.
