I had trouble with Golf Story. I liked a lot of things about it but it was to obtuse. Mechanics weren’t explained or at least not explained well.

I’m starting to feel the same. I think AC Odyssey is one of my favorite games ever. 

Same but for different reasons. Even the worst of these MMO-lite shooters gets lots of love for the first 3 weeks or so.

That’s only true if you don’t have very much loot to offer.

That’s a weird take. The whole article is essential; “you’ve bought this game and it sucks, what do you do next”.

It hasn’t completely failed. It’s made them piles of money with their sports titles.

It’s because BS:I was still a fun game, even if things changed. Or at least not that far off in terms of expectations.

This should have just been a single player game with co-op drop in as a side feature instead of this weird abomination.

It seems like a game that was made with the devs thinking they could somehow make a great story driven game with endless content in the MMO formula.

They’re not policing your morality. Their policing their morality on their platform. 

Unfortunately, that isn’t how the legal world works. Things like precedent come into play and discrimination. This is what Valve is looking at.

Yeah, why do people keep thinking the game they bought needs to be polished and working by release day?! Everyone needs to chill out. Their game will be ready sometime in the next year. Maybe.

Me neither. I think I put it maybe 4-5 hours and it just never grabbed me.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out they shot it up afterwards to sell their credibility.

There are Targets everywhere and no sign that they’ll have any trouble staying open over the next few years.

The bugs can be fixed. What can’t be fixed is how inherently broken these pseudo MMOs are.
