They almost had no choice but to prove this is still a thing.  I thought it looked fantastic and it seems they certainly remade the intro part of it for sure.  It looked very different to me.  I’m fine with Action-based combat but many will not be.

This game is average at best.  Sometimes it’s a bit too difficult and other times I find it frustratingly dull.  It’s a bare-bones version of Xcom, they even went as far as giving everyone a gun.  Why not use more Mario-themed attacks, similar to Super Mario RPG?  The whole thing is just...bland.

I’m thinking they’re aiming for 500 USD. Anything more than that, they can kiss it goodbye.  Sony can sell at a loss, they’ve done it before.  It’s software is where they make up for manufacturing costs.  If you think they’d ever release a product at 1000 USD, you must be new to following the industry.

You’d be shocked what developers can do when it comes to optimizing games for consoles. I agree, we’ll end up getting some inconsistent anyway but it can be done with a talented dev team.

I don’t know why people think it “needs” to do 4k 60fps. Console gamers have been dealing with 30fps (sometimes a little less) for many years.  The console would do fine at Native 4k 30fps.  We’ll end up getting inconsistent FPS in most games anyway or it’ll adjust the resolution and shit, I can see it now.  Like Xbox…

Sorry to hear about your sister, I will keep you all in my thoughts. I often resort to familiar MMO games during times of stress or sadness too. Perhaps it’s the monotony in combination with nostalgia that helps me just forget about the real world when I need to.

Ps4 compatibility is a good move.  Going to a SSD is great as well.  Anyone who has experienced an SSD on a PC, can tell you that HDD is pretty much for backup drives at this point.
