I would never throw down hundreds of dollars for a title I didn’t think was for me. Everything Nightcry stands for is exactly my type of game, but I refuse to accept such amateur design mistakes from people who have made such brilliant games in the past. I understand looking past games flaws, but I just can't get

The controls are so far from the real issues within Resident Evil 6.

I do appreciate B-Movie type horror titles like Deadly Premonition. That game is great because it plays well— it used ancient mechanics, but it’s fun to play. However, the quality of the build shown in the Alpha demo for Nightcry is very unsatisfactory in my opinion. Simple issues like camera, controls and animations

I understand why you're showing Clock Tower 3 here, but that isn't really fair considering these creators only worked on the first two installments for SNES and Psone.

This is the most expensive game I have ever purchased and most likely ever will purchase. I am so disappointed in the games quality, performance and development team. The Alpha build that was sent to the backers was absolutely abysmal. It is not fun to play due to severe camera issues, poor controls and terrible

Fuck, no. 10 percent? Bye.

Not sure why everyone expected something different. The trailer really fooled people. Lol

I heard it. Sue ‘em!

I really don't know how I feel about this. Can't wait to see how the public responds if it is true.

If PSVR is successful, those controllers will become more popular and price will increase.

Does the VR bundle come with the move? The move sold OK, but it seems to me like it'll be even more because now people have to pick those up too. The DS 4 most likely won't work on all the games. Thankfully, I have the camera and Move controllers, but I think there is some hidden fees here beyond the camera.

No Jigglypuff, no buy!

After seeing how they treated Smash and Mario Kart 8; I have a feeling the prices will be fair.

I own this game physically on PSP. So should you, waiting around for digital versions of older titles is silly. Square has bigger fish to fry than worry about the Vita and PSP market. If anything, the original Star Ocean 2 would be better.

Great PSP title. Instead of waiting around for something that isn't going to happen, why not just play the PSP version? It's amusing that people want to play previously released games on it. You're kinda the problem with their market here...

Atlus is a very profitable company. They have their niche market and fan base who will follow their every move. They’re utterly fucking brilliant on almost every title, regardless of platform. They have nothing to lose when pumping out small titles for a small install base. It will sell.

It sales were laughable. I don’t blame Sony at all for pulling out. They’re losing enough money as a company. They’re unable to afford to sink money into a console that will not sell in the North American markets. Move on, folks! Sony did.

That’s where my confusion is with this article as well. This thing went nowhere the moment it launched in the states. It became an indie machine—and that’s OK!

I feel like I’m constantly hearing Kotaku editors gripe about how the Vita is dead and that Sony killed it, every couple weeks. Yes; Square-Enix is letting it go. Many major third party developers/publishers are dropping it.

I would really like to get into this game, but I will wait until next year most likely. So they can at least somewhat complete this product. DLC characters is fine, but some of these things should have already been there. Why should I give them 60 USD so they can complete the game later?
