Membrane keyboards are fine, but mechanical keyboards—like the keyboards of yore—are still kings in terms of durability, feel, and usability (not to mention ergonomics). Agreed! And strangely enough, with all the advantages of modern tech (search, index, bookmark, etc.), flipping through a real paper books is always more convenient and feels more satisfied.

Ebooks, being a recent technology, win on so many points but to me they never replace the feeling of paper books. The best would be a (real) paper book that can reload itself with different content.
